The Heart of Oak Park Spring Festival definitely had ‘heart.’
As Dr. Donald O. Wright, Sr. Pastor shared, the mission of this festival was the launching of bringing residents together, offering free services by volunteers from a free BBQ of hot dogs and hamburgers including water and soft drinks, to those who needed free bike repairs and haircuts! And, for Oak Park, this is just the start!
As Pastor Wright‘s eyes were bright and smiling with love for Oak Park Community, he shared his greatest desire is that of giving the community a sense of fellowship with all communities. Pastor Wright has another mission: that of creating job fairs for Oak Park held during future festivals. And, Sacramento Fire Department attended to answer questions as to the requirements for pursuing this career! Thank you!
