SACRAMENTO, CA - Shaq Thompson who is one of the top high school prospects in the Sacramento region and considered by some as the best defensive back in the country has given his verbal commitment to play for the Washington Huskies.
On twitter, Thompson tweeted Monday evening, "Just committed to the UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON #HUSKYNATION."
Originally, the Grant Pacer star and News10 Player of the Year had gave his commitment to Cal making the announcement on national television during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in early January.
