Two arrested following car crash on I-80 in Natomas
SACRAMENTO, CA - Two people were taken into custody after a car crash on Interstate 80 led to a foot chase in Natomas early Friday morning.
California Highway Patrol units responded to the crash around 3 a.m. Preliminary information suggested the driver missed an exit, leading to the wreck.
Once officers arrived, the driver took off on foot, according to the CHP report. However, officers located the individual, who was arrested along with a passenger in the car.
According to the CHP, the vehicle may have been stolen.
