Plane lands safely at Sac Int'l. after in-flight emergency
SACRAMENTO, CA - An Alaska Airlines flight landed safely at Sacramento International Airport Monday afternoon after a report of an electrical smell in one row of the passenger cabin.
Alaska Airlines representative Bobbie Eagan said the crew of Flight 606 diverted the Seattle to Las Vegas-bound plane to Sacramento as a precaution.
There were 152 passengers onboard. There were no reports of injuries.
Eagan said once maintenance technicians check the aircraft, a decision will be made about how the passengers will be flown to Las Vegas.
