As the saying goes "it only takes one person to make a difference." and this could not be more true with 13 year old Ryan Manriquez from Sacramento. Ryan, who uses a wheel chair due to spinal muscular atrophy, loves Halloween. In fact it’s his favorite holiday because it’s the only holiday he feels you can pretend to be someone else and no one looks at your disability. Last year Ryan decided to organize a Halloween Costume Drive to provide costumes to children in need throughout the greater Sacramento area as his sixth grade community project. Ryan’s efforts sparked an interest in large franchisee fast food restaurant Papa Murphy’s pizza.
