The number one question coaches hear this time of year at Bootcamp is "Do we have Bootcamp on Thanksgiving?"

The short answer: No, there are no bootcamps scheduled for Thanksgiving Day.

The long answer: No, there are no bootcamps scheduled for Thanksgiving Day BUT you can, and should, still get a workout in!!

This Thanksgiving, treat yourself to the Tough Turkey Express Workout! It will only take a few minutes, and its a great way to start off your holiday weekend.

Its called the Express Workout, and you can do it wherever you are, whenever you want!  As we head into one of the busiest time of the year, it is great to have fast and easy tool to help you keep up your healthy lifestyle.

For a quick workout at home, on vacation, or even in the office, try this circuit (repetitions in parenthesis are for beginner, intermediate and advanced, respectively:

Pushups - box-style, on your knees or on your toes (20, 25, 30)

Dips (20,25,30)

All Aboard…From Farm-to-Fork!

Coinciding with the 2nd Annual Farm-to-Fork celebration in the Sacramento region, California State Parks, the California State Railroad Museum Foundation and Stillwater Orchards will showcase the important role the region’s railroads have played in supporting agriculture. On September 27 & 28, 2014 -- during the final weekend of regular season excursion train rides on the Sacramento Southern Railroad -- a shipment of locally-grown pears donated by Stillwater Orchards will be stacked in crates on the Freight Depot platform in Old Sacramento State Historic Park and offered free to train riders all weekend long (while supplies last).
