News10 Facebook fans pick best local pumpkin patches | Community

SACRAMENTO - Answering the question of "Which pumpkin patch/corn maze do you think is the best in the area?" News10's facebook fans overwhelmingly chose Bishop's Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland as the greatest gourd grower in the region.

As to why Bishop's was deemed the best, Lynn M. Godward, a Bishop's regular, said, "Bishops Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland. Has a lot of things to do for the kids and it's become a tradition for my grandkids for several years now."

Coming in a respectable second was Del Osso Farms in Lathrop, Calif. The Del Osso faithful also spoke out in behalf of their preferred pumpkin patch

Verna Narzekalski said, "Dell Osso farm in Lathrop is the best!!! Clean farm! Beautiful poster/postcard photos! Gorgeous highway 5 landscape!"

No matter which location is the best, one thing's for sure -- Sacramento and the surrounding areas have a host of great Fall fun spots.
