Next Thursday, January 29, Mayor Kevin Johnson will deliver his annual address on the current state of affairs for Sacramento.

The State of the City (#SacSOTC) is from 6pm-8pm at the Memorial Auditorium. The event is free, but you must register for tickets. They’re also asking all attendees to help the Coats and Cans Drive by bringing a donation of a new/gently used coat for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Sacramento Area and/or a canned food item for the River City Food Bank and Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services... Bank of America & Sacramento Covered Present the 17th Annual “Sacramento Museum Day” on 2/7!

With nearly 25 museums and local destinations participating, the 2015 Sacramento Museum Day is proudly presented by Bank of America and Sacramento Covered. To the delight of the greater Sacramento area community, the participating local museums will offer free or half-priced admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015, during the 17th annual event.  Most of the nearly 25 museums will offer free admission whereas two destinations located in residential areas -- the Sacramento Zoo and Fairytale Town -- will offer half-priced admission to offset traffic control and security costs.
